MEET THE AUTHOR
Dr. P.S. Coombs is a visionary educator with a rich background in early childhood education, educational leadership, and management. Born in Jamaica and raised in Florida, she comes from a family of college graduates, which she considers the foundation of her identity.
Holding a PhD in Educational Leadership and Management, a Master’s in General Psychology, a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Development, and an Associate’s in Business Administration, Dr. Coombs brings over 15 years of teaching and administrative experience. As the Founder and CEO of SoEdu Consulting Services, she provides tailored consulting to enhance academic outcomes and foster supportive learning environments.
An accomplished author, Dr. Coombs created the “Sophie-J Mysteries” children’s book series and writes several blogs, including “#Mondays with @SoEdu,” the “#Grammar Gazette Wednesdays Newsletter,” and “Tuesday Takeaways.” Her published dissertation “A STUDY OF FACTORS THAT AFFECT TEACHER ATTRITION IN K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS” is available on ProQuest.
